Commonly known as kratom, Mitragyna speciosa is a tropical tree related to the coffee plant that comes from the forests of Southeast Asia. Locals have been using kratom’s alkaloid rich leaves for centuries for their therapeutic and energizing qualities. Much like it’s coffee cousin, kratom is a powerful central nervous system stimulant and can boost both physical and mental energy.

Even though kratom contains over 30 alkaloids, the most abundant and studied is Mitragynine. It’s what gives kratom its wide range of unique effects. Our kratom’s alkaloid profiles are uncovered through rigorous lab testing. Once we receive the results, we hand select each batch to determine the strain.

Signature Reserve is always guaranteed to have the highest mitragynine content—at least 1.4%. Then the next highest are the Maeng Da strains, then the Bali’s and finally, the Thai’s.
